Day Zero was new this year. The Hungarian band Illes was playing the main stage because they were celebrating their anniversary. For this reason there were a lot of older people present on this day. The band sings in Hungarian which makes it strange for us. The tunes sounded familiar but we just could not understand anything they sang. After listening to a couple of songs we decided to get a beer at the Bomba tent that was near the Hammerworld stage last year (Metal Stage). Arriving there the Bomba tent wasn’t there but an other one took its place. And it was playing metal constantly. A funny fact is that they play entire albums and when you scream loud enough they play the music you want to hear, now that is something many bars in the Netherlands need to do.

Because a lot of us were tired of the trip and walking around Budapest we went to bed one by one at night. The festival finally began once again, this was something a lot of us were waiting for!
