Again a calm and relaxing day with Franz Ferdinand and Colorstar. The rest of the time was pure partying with beer, pizza and music. We discovered a lot of the island this year, we talked with new people and relaxed on various places.

 

During this years edition the conversations between the Metalrage people started to get worse by the minute and this day topped all of them. The entire day was about farting, sex, cocks and some details I won’t write down in this review. The atmosphere was great as you might notice and laughing is always a great thing to do.

After all this bullshit and laughing we wanted to laugh more, so it was a good combination to see Franz Ferdinand. And we were right, this is just not our thing. We watched for 3 seconds and decided to get a beer and sit down at the karaoke tent. I just don’t like this band live and on CD. In the pub after some beers I can party on one song but that is it. No more for me, I am going to miss this one on Lowlands.

Luckily enough we went to another Hungarian band afterwards. This time no metal but some electronic Drum’n’Bass Pop. Colorstar uses various styles in their music and with an amazing drummer you can call this one quality music. Some things we recognised were Coldplay tunes but the positioning on stage and the way the band plays their music is something to see. Combining professionalism with original guitar and vocal effects they managed to convince us.
