Day 6 – Monday August 15th
It is getting harder every day to get up, write something and continue but experienced as we are we managed to do it all once again. This day we witnessed the first rain, when we woke up we heard some drops on the tent and by the time we got out of the tent we only felt some drops that came of the trees surrounding our tent. Luckily enough the ground wasn’t that wet; only some moisture everywhere. The temperature dropped to 20 degrees and the sky was cloudy. The only thing we really wanted to see was Opeth who were playing the Hammerworld at 21.30. Again it was time for beer, karaoke and walking around.
When everybody got together that night we watched Opeth together. The hammerworld tent was filled up quite nicely and the band was playing a good set. After signing to Roadrunner Records they are releasing their new album this month. The sound was pretty good at the front but the further we got back the sound started to blur and change. The set was good and long, which means they played something like 8 songs. The audience enjoyed the show and like a metal concert is in Hungary; everybody was head banging.
After Opeth we decided to watch the Fishbone concert in at the WAN2 stage. The band from LA played their hybrid music in front of a packed tent and as far as we could see the people were dancing. As metal as we are we joined the people in the tent. With punk, funk and groovy tunes the tent was bouncing from front to back and the floor just didn’t stop shaking.
