After handing out a lot of flyers and leaving the rest near the toilets (I didn't give this one out to the Streetteam!), I entered the small hall upstairs at Paradiso. The pre show was coming to an end, some guy with a Gibson SG doing some songs. I can't really cry over missing him. After 2 beers and one smoke, The Answer took the stage and started one the best rock shows I have seen in quite while...well ok in a month probably, but nevertheless, I liked it!!

The Answer started out with a couple of great bluesy rock tracks and got the crowd with 'em in no time! Front man Cormac Neeson got the crowd to go with the flow, although he overdid it from time to time. Guitar player Paul Mahon is among the best I have ever seen!! This guy knows how his guitar works! A couple of songs into the concert, after hearing songs such as "Keep Believing" and " Never Too Late", The Answer treated me with my favorite "Under The Sky". The crowd got into it, and they started playing a couple of new songs, which rocked like hell! The Answer gave the crowd a great encore with "Preaching", where Paul Mahon showed off his talent on his Les Paul with a slide.

This was one show I really enjoyed and not just because of the beer! I am definitely going to see these guys a lot more!
