Black Anvil begins recording new album
New York black metal crew Black Anvil has entered Magpie Cage Studios in Baltimore, Maryland with renowned producer J. Robbins (Clutch, The Sword, Coliseum) to begin recording its new album for a spring 2014 release via Relapse Records. The new disc will follow 2010's "Triumvirate", which saw the band progress to darker and deeper territories. Comments Black Anvil: "This record insists on demanding a broader scope than previous works in order to experience a personal voyage towards demise."
Black Anvil released two full-length albums to universal critical acclaim, 2008's "Time Insults The Mind" and the aforementioned "Triumvirate". The band has toured with a diverse offering of acts, including Watain, Aura Noir, Marduk and Goatwhore.
