Red Tape - Radioactivist
Its Roadrunner debut, Radioactivist, is a real short but powerful album. With their punk / metal music, Red Tape gives the world a real good album. With the sounds of bands like Black Flag, Refused, A.F.I and even some sounds from the early Motrhead years, Red Tape makes you want to bang your head. Listening to this album makes the energy streaming through you body. With the great number of positive reviews all over the web, Red Tape gets a warm welcome. Playing for Roadrunner Records is probably even a bigger opportunity to put their name on the map all over the world.
Personally, I think this is a great album. Even though Im not really into punk I like every single song on the album. Its just good music which doesnt make me feel sad and bored stiff. When Im listening to the album Im just full of energy. Most songs contain a real nice peace of guitar playing. Sometimes hard, sometimes melodic. Jeff Jaworski is using is voice also very good. Sometimes loud singing with a raw voice, sometimes with a melodic voice. Thats exactly what makes people listen and not get bored after 3 songs.
To everyone who likes punk and metal (or just wants to hear some lyrics against society), buy the album!
