Doomstone - Disharmonic
Doomstone was formed in 1994 by Andreas Lutticken in Trier. Many line up changes have taken place but since 2000 Doomstone is finally a full band with a constant line up. They recorded their first album Obsidian then and now they have produced their second album Disharmonic.

With a menacing and evil intro, Doomstone begin their second full lenght album with a combination of heavy guitars with a fat double bass sound and a deep growl. Hypocrites is the first song on the album and with first ears it sounds quite nice. Extreme death metal with a little doom in it. The combination is well found and it is pleasant to hear.
Sleepwalker is the next song and the guitars sound very trashy in this song. However, the previous style is found back again and this band stands like a rock. Some nice songs are Evolutions Wheel, Faces and Extinction. There is not much to remark about this band, except one thing. Its only negative point is that it isnt that quite original, and that several parts are taken from other bands. If you like bands like Dark Tranquillity, Amorphis and can appreciate some trash than this album is surely worth a try.
