The band proved to be quite better than before, especially with the newly recruited drummer behind the kit. Obviously a guy that doesn’t know how to restrain himself, judging from the rain of pieces of drumsticks. At the end of their set, he was out of sticks completely. The band played a number of old songs together with some new ones (which I found to be more promising than the older work). The addition of blastbeats in the music really adds to the aggressive aspect of the music, making it a little bit more angry than before. This guy seems to be finding his place in this band gradually, I would like to see what he does with them over a year or so. The only thing I want to complain about is the guitar sound of both guitar players, it so smeared out and noisy that sometimes I had a real hard time finding out what they were doing exactly. Other than that, it seems that Charlie*Adler is back! Overall they can’t compete with the international top in their genre, but they sure as hell make a nice opening act for most of them.
